Get to Know Me

Hi! My name is Austin. I graduated from Kimball High School in 2015 and continued my education at Southeast Tech in Sioux Falls. My wife, Hannah, and I met in 2020, and we share our home with two crazy dogs. Hannah plays a pivotal role in the final details of the images I deliver, and I can’t thank her enough for that. You will see Hannah on-site for many sessions, helping with many different tasks.

My Photography Journey

• In the fall of 2012, I started taking pictures at Wings of Thunder hunting lodge in Kimball, SD. I really enjoyed it for a few years, but like most teenagers, I became distracted with other things in life and I put the camera down. I started things back up here and there as my love for photography never went away. I was just busy with life and learning adulthood.

• In April 2023, I picked my camera back up and haven’t put it down since. I dove into the craft headfirst. I invested hundreds of hours into learning my equipment, software, and tuning my attention to detail.

• As of November 2023, I started offering portraiture. I offer portraits for couples, families, high school seniors, and anything else in between!
